Privacy Policy

Technickles is run by Brenton Nickles. This page explains, in plain language, what information this website collects and what we do with it. The short version: very little, and we never sell it.

Information you choose to send us

When you email us, through a link on this site or otherwise, we receive your name, your email address and whatever you write. We use it only to reply to you and, if you ask us to, to work on your website. Emails about the Time to Heal course go to Sheila Greco, who uses them the same way.

Information collected automatically

• Hosting logs. This site is hosted by Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel records basic technical details of each visit, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to keep the site running and secure.
• Visit counts. We may use Google Analytics to see how many people visit and which pages they read. This uses one first-party cookie (_fp_cid) to tell repeat visits apart. It does not tell us who you are.
• Your display preference. If you switch between light and dark mode, your browser remembers that choice on your own device. It is never sent to us.

What we don't do

• We don't sell, rent or trade your information.
• We don't run advertising trackers on this site.
• We don't ask for payment details on this site.

Links to other sites

Some links, such as Facebook, take you to other websites. Those sites have their own privacy policies, which we don't control.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.

Your choices

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and the site will still work. If you've emailed us and would like us to delete your messages, just ask.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll update it on this page and change the date at the top.
